Radar Observer · Plotting — DRM/SRM
In radar plotting, DRM and SRM stand for:
- ADistance Run and Speed Run Mark
- BDirection of Relative Movement and Speed of Relative Movement✓ Correct
- CDoppler Range Mode and Scan Rate Mode
- DDeviation and Speed Reference Marks
Explanation
DRM is the direction along the relative-motion line that the target appears to travel relative to own ship; SRM is its speed along that line. They are derived from successive plots and used to compute CPA and TCPA.
