A vessel at anchor 100 meters or more in length, in restricted visibility, in addition to ringing the bell forward, shall:
- ASound one prolonged blast
- BFire a rocket every minute
- CSound a gong in the after part of the vessel for about 5 seconds✓ Correct
- DSound five short blasts
Explanation
An anchored vessel rings the bell rapidly for about 5 seconds at intervals not exceeding 1 minute. If 100 m or more, she also sounds a gong for about 5 seconds in the after part immediately after the bell.
