When a vessel is in any doubt as to whether she is overtaking another, she shall:
- AAssume she is crossing and act accordingly
- BAssume that she is overtaking and keep out of the way✓ Correct
- CHold course and speed
- DSound one short blast
Explanation
If in any doubt, the vessel shall assume she is overtaking and act as the give-way vessel, keeping clear until finally past and clear.
