A sailing vessel underway may, in addition to sidelights and a sternlight, exhibit at or near the top of the mast:

Explanation
A sailing vessel may show two all-round lights in a vertical line at the masthead, red over green. These may not be used together with the combined (tricolor) lantern permitted for sailing vessels under 20 m.
