Upslope fog forms when:

Explanation
Upslope fog develops when humid air flows up a gradual incline (hills, coastal plains), expanding and cooling until it saturates. It is distinct from advection fog (warm moist air over cold surface) and radiation fog (nocturnal cooling of land), and is common where winds push moist air toward higher ground.
