Engineering · Electrical — Theory
Electrical power in a DC circuit is calculated as:
- AP = E / I
- BP = E x I (volts times amps)✓ Correct
- CP = I / R
- DP = R x E
Explanation
Power equals voltage times current: P = E x I (watts). Using Ohm's law it can also be written P = I^2 R or P = E^2 / R.
