Chart Navigation & Plotting · Plotting Conventions — Labeling

By convention, how is a course line labeled on a chart?

Explanation

Standard labeling: course is written above the line as 'C 090' (three-digit true) and speed below as 'S 12.' Fixes are labeled with the time in four digits; a DR position is a half-circle with the time, and an estimated position is a square.
