Corrections to keep a paper chart up to date are published in the:
- ATide Tables
- BNotice to Mariners✓ Correct
- CNautical Almanac
- DSailing Directions only
Explanation
The weekly Notice to Mariners publishes chart corrections — new dangers, shifted buoys, changed lights — which the navigator hand-applies (or which update electronic charts). A chart not corrected to the latest Notice cannot be trusted for current information.
